A Diagram That Simplifies The Process,
CT Scanners use an x-ray source and pass x-rays through the object being scanned to a detector on the other side
Multiple Xray images of the rock samples can be obtained with different angles and different intensities in order to reconstruct the 3d image using a special type of algorithm.
The 3D image will be used in major industries such as Petroleum, mining etc for digital analysis and to compare the parameters of the digital model with laboratory measurements.
